NPFL: Kano Pillars end four-game barren run

Kano Pillars ended their four-game winless streak following a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Sporting Lagos at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Saturday.
Mustapha Umar scored the winning goal for Abdullahi Maikaba’s side three minutes after the break.
The Sai Masu Gida moved to seventh position in the table following the win.

In the Gombe derby, Doma United held Gombe United to a 1-1 draw at the Pantami Township Stadium.
Gombe United took the lead through David Nnaji on 12 minutes.
Musa Usman equalised for Doma United four minutes after the hour mark.
Six matchday 27 games will be played on Sunday.
